A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics is an undergraduate degree that provides theory and training in both applied and core mathematics. The Department of Mathematics was founded along with the institute in 2014, which offers three year BSc. Mathematics degree from University of Kerala. This Department not only focuses on training in the rudiments of Mathematics, it also emphasizes in offering advanced classes on applications in modern day technology. Also the department is looking forward to encourage young minds across diversified areas of Mathematics. In addition to this department has a Mathematics club named ‘Sci- pi’ which is run by students. Its objective is mainly to have informal mathematical discussions and seminars along with social and cultural activities. Those who study math are keen problem solvers, eager to make sense of even the most advanced equations. Academic research is a common career path, but so are careers in business, economics and banking. This wide range of opportunities comes from the universal need for graduates with strong analytical and problem solving skills in mathematics.

 

Majority of our students who have completed the degree course, got admission for post graduation in many reputed universities. Department of mathematics also provide coaching for competitive examinations.
